BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 16. In accordance with the instructions of Head of the State Border Service of Azerbaijan, Deputy Head of the State Border Service, Lieutenant General Javid Abdullayev visited serviceman Elshan Rustamov, who was serving at the Lachin border checkpoint and was wounded as a result of a provocation committed by Armenia, the State Border Service of Azerbaijan told Trend.
The treatment of the serviceman currently continues at the Clinical Medical Center.
According to doctors, his condition is stable at the moment, there is no threat to his life.
Elshan Rustamov expressed gratitude to the leadership of the State Border Service and the medical staff of the Clinical Medical Center for their high attention and care and noted that after the end of the treatment and recovery period, he will continue to serve to protect Azerbaijani borders.
