BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 6. Eight vocational education institutions are planned to be launched in Azerbaijan's Karabakh, the Director of the State Agency for Vocational Education Jeyhun Karamov told Trend.

"An educational institution designed for 850 students is being built in Fuzuli city. We are engaged in the design of such institutions in Gubadli, Zangilan, Aghdam, and Shusha. Our idea is to ensure the correspondence of the vocational school in each district to the potential of that district. All our educational institutions will have specialties in green energy. The Shusha State Vocational Education Center will offer training in specialties such as stone monument restoration, artistic embroidery master, and musical instrument master.

Specific benefits for those studying in vocational education institutions in Karabakh haven't yet been approved. We have also proposed to apply certain benefits to those returning and receiving education in vocational schools there," he said.

To note, following the liberation of Azerbaijani lands from Armenian occupation in 2020, Azerbaijan launched a large-scale restoration process, covering the rebuilding of schools in the liberated territories.

Thus, up to now, schools have been built and commissioned in the liberated Fuzuli, Lachin and Shusha cities, as well as Aghali, Talish, and Zabukh villages.
