BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 7. The 29th Azerbaijan Championship among Age Categories and the Baku Championship in Acrobatic Gymnastics have kicked off at the Heydar Aliyev Sports and Concert Complex, marking the beginning of a thrilling competition, Trend reports.
In a grand tapestry of athleticism, 73 competitors take the stage, each a vibrant thread woven from the esteemed Baku Gymnastics School, Ocaq Sport Club, Neftchi Sports Club, and the Specialized Children's and Youth Sports School of Olympic Reserve No. 13, all converging to create a masterpiece of skill and determination.
The three-day contest will unfold like a vibrant tapestry, showcasing a variety of categories woven together in a dazzling display, including women's pairs (children aged 2008-2013; juniors 2009-2018), men's pairs (adults, born in 2009 and older), mixed pairs (adults, born in 2009 and older), women's groups (children aged 2008-2013; pre-juniors 2006-2012; juniors 2005-2010; and adults 2009 and older), and men's groups (pre-juniors 2006-2012; adults 2009 and older).
The athletes will go toe to toe in balance, tempo, and mixed programs.
