UNO implements a project on rehabilitation of persons, who got psychological traumas from the activities of the religious sects in Azerbaijan, the UNO resident-coordinator in Azerbaijan Marco Barsotti told journalists, Trend reports.
According to him, he has the information at his disposal on availability of persons in Azerbaijan, who got various psychological traumas from the activities of religious sects functioning in the country and who need aid.
The UNO representative in Azerbaijan reported relevant consultations had been held with the leadership of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the State Committee on religious structure in Azerbaijan on implementation of such a project. UNO is ready to facilitate the Azerbaijani side in solving this problem, the UNO representative stated.
