(РљР°vkaz-Press) вЂ" The Azerbaijanis, residents of the Badiauri village of Sagaredjo province, Georgia, blocked today the highway Tbilisi- Gurdjaani. The Azerbaijanis’ resentment was caused by the appearance in the village of several individuals, which demanded from them to abandon the village.
В"They announced us, that we must go away from here, as the Georgians will settle here; it is provocation, as we get on well with the local Georgians and do not want to go from here”, the action’s participants stated. As they say, someone wants to cause a clash between them and the Georgian population and they ask for protection from the local authorities and police.
Along with this, the action’s participants state, in one of the uninvited guests they recognized the brother of the police officer of Sagaredjo region. В"We appealed to the police asking for help, but they did not deign to do anything” the Azerbaijanis said.
