“The Azerbaijani Ecology and Natural resources Ministry does not regard lifting of the ban on fowling as expedient,” Husseyn Baghirov, the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources, told Trend.
“The ban is supposed to continue despite non-revealing of bird flu in the country. We waiting for official report by the State Veterinary Service to make a final decision,” he added.
Baghirov did not exclude possibility of lifting of the ban, but stressed that it was not worth to endanger the done work for several hunters.
On 11 November the Ministry decided to prolong the ban on fowling till mid-December.
