“If Gala does not play in European Cups in 2006, I can accept a proposal from abroad,” Rimas Kurtinays, the chief coach of the club and the national team, told Trend.

The coach noted that everything would clear up in 2006. “There is such practice in the world that a specialist can lead one club and train a national team of other country the same time. For example, Dutchman Goose Khiddik leads Aidkhoven club and trains the Austrian national team,” he underlined.

Kurtinays stressed that despite numerous proposals he focused on the work in Azerbaijan.
