A delegation of the Azerbaijani Education Ministry is participating in a meeting of the education ministers of the European countries, which started in London on Monday, the Education Ministry told Trend.
The gathering to last by Friday is focused on the application of the advanced means of information and communications technologies at schools.
During the top meeting the delegations from difference countries will hold problems existing their countries, perspectives for the development of schools, application of advanced technologies. During the visit the Azerbaijani specialists will visit the local schools, got familiar with the use of advanced technologies at schools.
The state program on provision of secondary schools with information and communications technologies, developed at the Presidents decree, is currently being implemented in Azerbaijan. The program on computerization of the secondary schools of Baku and Sumgayit started from early September. The 3-year program envisages computerization of 210 schools.
