New structure of the recently established Ministry of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan will be most likely ratified by the end of March, Trend reports citing the acting head of the press-service of the Azerbaijan Ministry of Youth, Sport and Tourism, Ragif Abbasov.
According to Abbasov, the project of new structure of the Ministry was presented to the government in February. Soon after the presidential decree on reorganization of a number of ministries was issued, a Liquidation commission was created, which brought a number of measures into life. Thus, commission created by the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan was ordered to settle down in two months all questions concerning activities of the former Ministry, including financial ones, stated Abbasov.
For the present moment only the Minister and one of his deputies were appointed for the job, whereas other employees of the ministry continue to perform their duties and are responsible for their work as previously, emphasized Abbasov. He noted, that the Ministrys apparatus continues its work both in the youth politics and sport areas.
Noticeably, that the Presidential decree on the reorganization of a number of ministries have reorganized Ministry of Youth, Sport and Tourism into the Ministry of Youth and Sport, and Ministry of Culture into the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
