The police of Istanbul informs that the leader of the National Renascence Movement of South Azerbaijan (NRMSA) Mahmud Chokhragani has already been released. The statement was made by the relatives and members of NRMSA who held a protest action in front of the police commissariat of the region Zeytinburnu in Istanbul where Chohragani was detained, Trend reports with reference to a Turkish mass media.
The participants of the action required the immediate release of the leader of NRMSA who was arrested by the police of Istanbul yesterday in a hotel. Chohragani gave an interview to Turkish mass media in Faih region. However, the leadership of the commissariat stated that Chohragani has already been released. However, the statement didnt assuage the protestors expressing a danger in connection with the health of NRMSA leader.
Besides, the Department on Work with Foreigners of Istanbul police earlier disseminated a statement that right after necessary bureaucratic procedures, Chohragani would be expulsed from Turkey.
