Azerbaijan and Samara are going to expand cultural cooperation

Azerbaijan and Samara region of Russia are going to expand the cultural cooperation, this view was announced during the meeting between the Azeri minister of culture and tourism Abulfaz Garayev and minister of culture and youth policy of Samara Olga Ribakov held today within the cultural days of Samara in Azerbaijan , Trend reports.

We highly assess the relations between Azerbaijan and Samara, told Garayev. According to Garayev, each visit of delegation from Samara to Azerbaijan brings a new stone to the construction of a friendly bridge between Azerbaijan and Samara region. In this context, Garayev attached a great importance to the conducting of cultural days of Samara in Azerbaijan . for the purpose to develop cooperation, Garayev considered necessary the signing of an agreement on cooperation between the Azeri Ministry of Culture and Tourism and

Ministry Culture and Youth Policy of Samara.

Ribakova also supported this idea. According to Ribakova, many Azerbaijanis live in Samara region and the head of Samara does its best for Azerbaijanis living there so that they feel comfortable themselves and possess equal rights. Today the Azeri diaspora is involved in all ruling structures of Samara, told Ribakova.

According to Garayev, Azerbaijan people will got familiar with the culture and art of Samara within the cultural days. An exhibition of Samara painters will be organized at the art exhibition hall in Icheri Sheher (Old City) within the framework of Russian Year in Azerbaijan. Today the day of art masters of Samara is held in Azerbaijan State Philharmonic Society. And on June 15, the guests will leave for Ismayilli region densely-populated by Russians.
