Conference dedicated to organization of service of children's hot line was held in Baku

A national conference dedicated to the organization of the service of childrens hot line was held in Baku on June 16, Nabil Seyidov, national coordinator of the Alliance of Non-Governmental Organizations for rights of children in Azerbaijan, told Trend.

The conference held through the support from OSCE covered the issue of establishing the service of childrens hot line through the support of the International Organization of Childrens Hot Line, and the activity direction in this sphere were determined.

Seyidov noted that The goal to create such line is to ensure the relations with

the respective children sustained physical and sexual pressure, provide children with psychological and legal assistance.

The conference brought together the director of International Organization of Childrens Hot Line Jeroo Billimoria, head of the same organization on programs of European and Asian countries Trin Ericsen, as well as representative of the State Committee on Problems of Women and Children of Azerbaijan, Cabinet of Ministers, Education Ministry, Social Protection Ministry, Interior Ministry and Ombudsman Elmira Suleymanova.

In the near future, the Azeri Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies will allocate 3 digital code for the hot line.
