The visit of the Finance Director of the International Association for Educational Assessment (IAEA) Jan Veygres to Baku began, Trend reports quoting the State Committee for Student Admission of Azerbaijan (SCSA).
The aim of the 3-day visit is to be familiarized with the preparations for the next 33rd Conference of the IAEA due in 2007 in Baku, which is organized by the SCSA, and exchange information regarding possible measures of the organization.
International Association for Educational Assessment was created in 1974 in the American state New Jersey. The aim of the organization is to hold researches in the sphere of education and achieve new successes.
IAEA annually holds conferences in various countries. Azerbaijan joined this organization in 1999 and participates in all its measures. It was decided to hold the conference in 2007 in Azerbaijan.
