Venue to Hold Demonstrations in Center of City Impossible Dep. Chief of Presidential Office
At present, finding a venue in which to hold demonstrations in the city center is impossible, the Chief of the Social and Political Department of the Executive Apparat of the Azerbaijani President, Ali Hasanov informed Trend, commenting on the recommendations of the Venice Commission regarding creating conditions to hold pickets in the central territories of Baku city.
Hasanov stated that at present locations for the opposition are limited and he is sure that the places allocated by the Government for the demonstrations are available.
The opposition parties of Azerbaijan refuse to hold demonstrations at venues allocated by the Government, expressing that these venues are located far from the center of the capital and therefore losing the impact of their actions.
