ANS, Azerbaijan first private TV and Radio Company, broadcasted for 15 years in the country. It has never taken part in any political plays. The Company hopes that it could resume its broadcasting very soon, Vakheed Mustafayev, President of ANS Group of Companies, has said during the press-conference, Trend reports.

Mr. Mustafayev said that the Company is going to take all steps within the Constitution and existing legislation of the country to resume its broadcasting. In this connection, the leadership of the Company is expected to meet with the top officials of the Country.

Mr. Mustafayev said that it was impossible to change the content of the founders of ANS.

This morning, November 24, the National TV and radio Council of Azerbaijan decided to suspend the broadcasting of ANS TV Channel and ANS-CM Broadcasting Station from 15:00 p. m local time. The decision was made during the meting of the Council when the appeal of ANS on extending its license on the broadcasting was considered. The National Council has come to this conclusion in accordance with the requirements of the Article 22.4 of the Bill On TV and Radio Broadcasting, taking into consideration the fact that ANS TV and Broadcasting Channels frequently violate repeated official forewarns and penalty provisions of the National TV and Radio Broadcasting Council. ANS showed its insincere position toward the rebukes and forewarns made by the Council concerning those infringements that the media source shattered.
