Rahim Husseinzadeh, the Executive Secretary of the Azerbaijan Press Council, is expected to pay a visit to southern regions of the country in order to check illegal actions taken by media organizations of those regions.According to him, in some Azerbaijan regions, particularly in the southern regions, a group of jornalists take bribes from different organiations by using the name of the Press Council. The Press Council will check these facts. Unfortunately, there are such employeees of newspapers in some regions, who consider themelves being masters of the situation. We have obtained a piece of information about attempts of taking bribes on our behalf. In order to check all that, I will depart to the southern region, meet with victims, and try to find these journalist. The results of the forthcoming checks wil be published, said Mr. Husseynzadeh.
