Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend E.Javadova / The next court session in Azerbaijan Court on Heinous Crimes took place over the criminal case of the former Health Minister of Azerbaijan, Ali Insanov. During the session, Insanov replied to the questions of advocates. Answering the question of his advocate Shahverdi Agaves regarding privatization, Insanov said that the accusations of illegal privatization, misappropriation and deviation from the tax are groundless. According to him, the facilities included in the balance of the Health Ministry were presented to the privatization according to the order of the Azerbaijan President and the privatization process was realized by the State Committee on Management of State Property. It would be better to ask about the illegal privatization in the State Committee, he said.
Thereafter, advocate asked Insanov a question on deviation from the tax. Insanov said that he does not agree with the accusations. He said that over the recent two years, he has paid tax to the State budget in amount of $380,000.
