Azerbaijan, Baku / Тrend corr K. Zarbaliyeva / A meeting of the Social Committee held with the participation of the Minister for Justice was attended by Jose Luis Herrera, the Head of NATO Baku Office and Andreas Bush.
Chingiz Ganizadeh, a member of the Social Committee, informed Trend Life on 3 April that activities of the committee were discussed during the meeting.
Jose Luis Herrera insists on holding monitoring in the investigation cells of the National Defence Ministry. He promised to render assistance on the matter. During the visit the Interior Minister Ramil Usubov permitted monitoring in the detention cells of the police department. Jose Luis Herrera promised to provide the committee with a building as well as technical facilities.
