Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend K.Zarbaliyeva / Fikret Mammadov , the Azerbaijani Justice Minister, has concluded his official visit to Italy.
During the visit, paid at the invitation of his Italian counterpart Klemente Mastelani the Azerbaijani minister met with several Italian senior state officials to discuss and exchange methods of experience in the justice sphere and court activities, fighting against terror, organized crime and cooperation in fighting against corruption.
Mammadov invited the Italian justice minister to visit Azerbaijan. In a meeting with the Italian media representatives Mammadov spoke about legal reforms held in Azerbaijan, as well as the realities of the Azerbaijani-Armenian conflict.
During the meeting with the chairman of the Italian Court of Supreme Judges, Senator Nikolay Manchino , the sides discussed transparency in court activities, the application of progressive methods in the selection of judges. Mammadov also met with the acting chairman of the Supreme Court of the Cassation Court in Karbonna , Prosecutor General Priskoli , former Justice Minister, and current Senator Kastelli .
