Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. S.Ilhamgizi / The Congress of World Azerbaijanis (CWA) is due to hold the 9th meeting of the organization. Appealing to; Azeri citizens residing in different countries, social and political organizations functioning for Azerbaijan, scientists and representatives of intellectuals.
Javad Derekhty, the Chairman of the Congress has stated that all members of the Azerbaijani society are invited to the meeting of the CWA in Cologne ( Germany) on the 7th to the 8th of July.
"CWA is an organization which struggles for national unity and self-affirmation for the Azerbaijani people as a single nation. The organization considers that every individual, who respects Azerbaijan, despite of their religion, ethnic background, socio-economic position is invited to attend the meeting. We are pleased to invite everybody to the 9th meeting of the Congress in Cologne, for the joint discussions on the problems encountered by our people and aim in resolving these issues." Derekhty added.
CWA was founded in the US in 1997. CWA is an independent organization, which struggles for the protection of national and human rights of 50mln Azerbaijanis, as well as the independence of South Azerbaijan ( North Iran).
