Azerbaijan, Baku /corr. Trend E.Huseynli / The Commissioner on Human Rights of Azerbaijan, Elmira Suleymanova, will make a visit to Georgia in the near future.
Suleymanova said on 23 July that within her visit, she will meet with her Georgian colleague, as well as senior Georgian officials. During the visit, discussions will take place on the extradition of the Azerbaijani prisoners serving their sentences in Georgia. "This issue was discussed during the visit of the Georgian ombudsman to Azerbaijan. Currently the ministries of the two countries are working together to devise the documents," Suleymanova said.
Within her visit, Suleymanova will also meet with Azerbaijanis residing in Georgia.
