Chairwoman of US-Azerbaijan Society Welcomes the Idea of Uniting CWA

Azerbaijan, Baku /corr. Trend S.Ilhamgizi / The Chairwoman of US-Azerbaijan Society, Tomris Azeri, welcomes the idea of uniting the Congress of the World Azerbaijanis (CWA) and calls on all Azerbaijanis to unite around a single ideology, mentioned by Azeri's statement. Tomris Azeri says that the Azerbaijanis residing abroad are liable to spread the ideas of the Azeri people and State, protect interests and present to the international community the realities of Azerbaijan.

"The State flag of independent Native Land is blowing in many countries around the world. It is very important for me. If we do not unite, we can not achieve anything. In this case our enemies will immediately attack against us. The actions forwarded against Turkey should be a lesson to us," she said.

Azeri wishes to see unity and solidarity of all work Azerbaijanis for Azerbaijan.

The Head of the Belgium House of Azerbaijan, Bulent Gurdjam, who is represented in CWA, stated that those who create conflicts between themselves should leave CWA.

The Congress of the World Azerbaijanis was established in 1997. The organization fights for the protection of the rights of the Azerbaijanis, especially for the independence of South Azerbaijan. In 1995 a disorder took place in the organization. Currently the group departing from the Congress raised a question to unite.
