(showbizspy.com) - Eddie Murphy is fighting back against former girlfriend Melanie Brown by issuing a cease-and-desist order commanding her to stop using his name in interviews.
Murphy and Brown dated last year and the former 'Spice Girl' became pregnant with Eddie's child. Before Melanie gave birth to their daughter, Angel Iris, they split. Brown always maintained that the child was Murphy's, and took legal action against him when he wouldn't acknowledge that he was the father.
However, Brown forced him to take a paternity test which then proved Angel Iris was his. She now claims that he hasn't paid her any child support.
Murphy hasn't really said much about the paternity case, but now he is firing back and accusing Brown of "disseminating disparaging, negative and defamatory statements." He also claims that Brown demanded he buy her and Angel Iris a $9 million house in Malibu to live in the next 18 years.
