The second tanker of the project RST12C “Kalbajar” will be handed over to the Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company in 2020, Trend reports with reference to Marine Engineering Bureau in Ukraine’s Odessa city.
Baku Shipyard LLC is building four new generation Caspian chemical tankers with deadweight of 7,875 tons as part of the RST12C project.
The main chemical tanker “Lachin” with deadweight of 7,875 tons as part of the project RST12C is 87 percent ready. It was launched February 21, 2019. The commissioning is expected in 2019.
The second tanker “Kalbajar” is 63 percent ready. The commissioning is expected in 2020.
On May 21, 2019, Baku Shipyard LLC began cutting metal for the third and fourth tanker of the project RST12C.
