Russian companies are interested in participating in "smart" projects in Azerbaijan and are ready to act as technological partners, the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of Russia told Trend.
The ministry noted that Russia is actively monitoring the developments in Azerbaijan.
“As is known, at present, by order of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, a project of the concept "Smart City" and "Smart Village" and projects in the field of e-health are being developed in Azerbaijan,” the message of the ministry reads.
“Russian companies have significant competencies in these areas, have experience in implementing projects in the field of e-government, "smart" cities "on a turnkey basis". In this context, Russian companies are interested in participating in the above-mentioned initiatives and are ready to act as technological partners for the Azerbaijani side,” said the ministry.
The ministry also emphasized that long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation has been established between the two countries, projects are being implemented in the fields of telecommunications, business process automation, the use of speech technologies, voice and multimodal biometrics.
