Germany can offer its experience in the restoration of Karabakh, Deputy Director of the German-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce Nigar Bayramli said in an interview with Trend.
According to Bayramli, the entire infrastructure of the liberated territories must be built from scratch.
In addition, she said that international companies, including German ones, are expressing interest in becoming part of Azerbaijan's huge task of rebuilding the territories.
"According to a survey of our Chamber of Commerce, conducted among international companies, 43 percent of respondents said that their participation in projects depends on the specialization of the company, 17 percent announced their readiness to participate in projects for the construction and creation of ICT infrastructure, 22 percent of entrepreneurs are ready to take part in the restoration of Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur," Bayramli said.
She noted that given these promising and long-term projects requiring modern, sustainable and high-tech solutions, Germany can offer its experience in the restoration of Karabakh.
"To date, there are no active negotiations on cooperation, but some projects are planned to start soon. We know that Israeli, Turkish, Italian, and other international companies are already implementing projects in the liberated territories. Member companies of the German-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce are also participating in current projects for the construction of infrastructure, roads, and airports. Also, work is underway with the relevant authorities to obtain additional opportunities for further participation in upcoming projects," Bayramli added.
