Revenues of the state budget of Azerbaijan from personal income tax (PIT) are projected to grow in 2022, Trend reports citing the bill of the budget.
According to the forecast, this indicator will exceed 1.4 billion manat ($820 million), up by 335 million manat ($197 million) or 29.1 percent on annual basis.
The bill noted that the increase in revenues will be due to the continuation of structural economic reforms.
"The increase in the average monthly salary in the country by five percent this year and by another 4.6 percent next year is a factor influencing the increase of PIT. At the same time, it's predicted that the tax collection level will reach 97.2 percent in 2022," added the bill.
