Azerbaijani businessmen will be able to sell goods via Amazon and eBay portals within the international requirements for cargo transportation and postal operators, head of the Azerbaijani Azexport project Aykhan Gadashov told Trend.
According to Gadashov, at the initial stage the businessmen will be able to present the local food and non-food products under 'Made in Azerbaijan' brand.
"The products include handicrafts, dried fruits, as well as other products that can be delivered to the buyer by the postal service," he said.
The head of the Azexport project stressed that restrictions on the sale of goods on these portals are set in accordance with international requirements for cargo transportation and postal operators which deliver goods from the seller to the buyer.
He also noted that the Azerbaijani side has done a lot of work in order to be able to sell local products via the Amazon and eBay portals.
"When placing goods, our businessmen must provide reliable information, high-quality photos of the products to be sold, and promptly respond to customer requests," he added.
