Azerbaijan’s PASHA Bank plans to expand loan services through digital platform

Azerbaijan’s PASHA Bank plans to expand its loan services through a digital platform in 2022, the bank's Chief Technology Officer Vusal Khalilovtold Trend.

“These types of loans are issued by the bank in the amount of 250,000 manat ($147,058) for each small and medium-sized business automatically,” Khalilov said. “We plan to expand the service.

“Before we developed a digital platform, the loan issuing process could take up to 30 days and now the client receives a loan within 1-2 days,” Khalilov added.

PASHA Bank completed 2021 with the net profit of 90.2 million manat ($53.05 million), which is by seven percent or 5.9 million manat ($3.5 million) more compared to 2020. The loan portfolio of the bank amounted to 2.6 billion manat ($1.5 billion), which is by 26.5 percent or 557 million manat ($327 million) more compared to 2020.

The total assets of the bank for 2021 amounted to 6.06 billion manat ($3.6 billion), which is by 11.5 percent or approximately 628 million manat ($369 million) more compared to 2020.
