BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 6. Azerbaijan's exports amounted to $8 billion, including non-oil exports - $727.2 million from January through March 2022, which is 45 percent more than in the same period in 2021, Trend reports citing the "Export Review" of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications of Azerbaijan.

According to the review, Azerbaijani exports of fruits and vegetables increased by 28.5 percent or up to $124.9 million, in the indicated period, compared from January through March 2021.

Azerbaijani exports of chemical products increased 10 times, aluminum and aluminum products - by 63.9 percent, ferrous metals, and products - by 48.7 percent, cotton yarn - by 29.3 percent, cotton fiber - by 5.6 percent from January through March 2022, compared to the same period in 2021.

Azerbaijan's exports amounted to $2 billion, including non-oil $265.5 million in March 2022. Azerbaijani food exports increased by 13.6 percent during this period, compared to the corresponding month of last year, and amounted to $48.8 million and non-food products - by 70.1 percent - up to $216.7 million.
