BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 23. The fixed capital of Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic was allocated over 411.247 million manat ($242.05 million) for the country's socio-economic development from January through May 2022, Trend reports citing Nakhchivan's State Statistical Committee.
According to the Committee, this figure was 1.2 percent more than in the same period of 2021.
In the reporting period, Nakhchivan's GDP exceeded 1.5 billion manat ($882.8 million), up by 1.8 percent against the same period of 2021.
GDP per capita in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic during this period amounted to 2,267 manat ($1,334), which was 2.2 percent more than from January through May 2021.
