BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 12. The manufacturing volume of products in the metallurgical industry and finished metal products of Azerbaijan increased by 79.66 percent in value (up to 409 million manat or $240.5 million), or by 922.4 million manat ($542.6 million) from January through July 2022 compared to the same period in 2021, Trend reports citing to the report of Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee.

According to the committee, the production of prefabricated structures made of ferrous metals exceeded 16.18 million manat or $9.5 million (an increase of 20.6 percent over the year).
Production in the metallurgical industry of Azerbaijan increased by 38.5 percent (to almost 1.1 billion manat or $647 million), or 442 million manat ($260 million) in 2021 compared to 2020.
