BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 30. A total of 195,663 cubic meters of timber have been exported from Russia's Perm region to Azerbaijan, Trend reports via the Russian Rosselkhoznadzor Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance.
According to Rosselkhoznadzor, mainly softwood and hardwood lumber in the amount of 195,484 cubic meters and wood packaging materials - 0,179 cubic meters are being exported.
"All timber products have passed through laboratory control in the Perm branch of Federal State Budgetary Institution All-Russian Plant Quarantine Center (VNIIKR). Laboratory examination confirmed the absence of quarantine pests. Each exported batch met the phytosanitary requirements of Azerbaijan, 1,925 phytosanitary certificates were issued for timber," the message reads.
