BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 7. The state budget revenues of Azerbaijan from the privatization of vehicles grew from January through August 2022, the State Service on Property Issues under the Ministry of Economy told Trend.
According to the service, this figure amounted to 1.8 million manat ($1.06 million), up by 3.9 times on annual basis.
A total of 29 auctions were held in the first eight months of this year, at which 721 vehicles were put up for sale. Out of the total number of vehicles, 375 motor vehicles were sold, which is 3.3 times more compared to the same period of 2021.
Meanwhile, the total start price of vehicles put up for the auctions exceeded 1.46 million manat ($860,000). Following the auctions, their value increased by 375,533 manat ($220,900) reaching 1.8 million manat ($1.06 million).
