BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 11. Azerbaijan’s current account balance is expected at 31.7 percent of the GDP in 2022, Trend reports via the latest Global Economic Outlook from the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
According to the report, this index in 2023 is forecast at 31.4 percent of the GDP.
As for the 2027 forecast, Azerbaijan’s current account balance is projected at 9.6 percent, the IMF said.
Meanwhile, the IMF’s July outlook expected Azerbaijan’s current account balance at 24.6 percent of the GDP in 2022, and 21.6 percent - in 2023. The 2027 forecast remained unchanged.
