BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 17. Azerbaijan’s fixed capital investments amounted to 10.1 billion manat ($5.9 billion) from January through September 2022, increasing by 4.6 percent against the same period of 2021, Trend reports referring to Azerbaijan’s State Statistical Committee.

In the reporting period, the investments in the oil sector dropped by 13.5 percent, while investments in the non-oil sector increased by 18.1 percent year on year.

Meanwhile, 59 percent (5.9 billion manat or $3.47 billion) of investments fell on the manufacturing sector, 34.5 percent (3.5 billion manat or $2.058 billion) – on the service sector, and 6.5 percent (660.1 million manat or $388.3 million) – on the construction of residential buildings.

A total of 7.3 billion manat, $4.29 billion (72.5 percent of fixed capital investments) have been spent on construction and installation work.
