BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 3. Azerbaijani Alco LLC will start exporting lubricants to Romania, the Czech Republic, Latvia, Lithuania, and Jordan, Azerbaijan's Economic Zones Development Agency told Trend.

According to the agency, it is expected that over 10,000 tons of products will be supplied to those countries in 2023.

The company is a resident of the Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park. The company produces more than 150 types of fuels and lubricants. In addition to the domestic market, the manufactured products are exported to more than 30 countries around the world under the Made in Azerbaijan trademark.

With a capacity to produce 100,000 metric tons of lubricants annually, Alco LLC is the largest lubricant manufacturer in the Caucasus. The manufacturing equipment is sourced from well-known international firms with European headquarters and a track record of successful field operation.

The company's product's homogeneity and stability are a result of the automated control and minimal outside involvement throughout the entire manufacturing process.

On 5 October 2016, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed a Decree on the large-scale promotion of products of the local non-oil sector in foreign markets under the Made in Azerbaijan trademark. The implementation of support measures to advance the Made in Azerbaijan brand overseas and encourage exports are covered by ten different mechanisms under this Decree.
