BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 18. From January through April 2023, Russian citizens purchased 4,732 real estate objects in Türkiye, which is 2,045 more compared to the same period of 2022, TurkicWorld reports citing the Turkish General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre, Trend reports.
According to the report, Russian citizens purchased 817 real estate objects in Türkiye in April 2023, which is 335 less compared to the same period in 2022.
A total of 85,652 properties were sold in Türkiye in April 2023, which is 35.6 percent less than in the same period of 2022.
From January through April, some 368,867 properties were sold in Türkiye, which is 18.6 percent less compared to the same period in 2022.
As many as 2,557 real estate objects were sold to foreign citizens in Türkiye in April 2023, which is 60.3 percent less compared to the same period in 2022.
From January through April 2023, foreign citizens purchased 13,483 properties in Türkiye, which is 35.1 percent less than in the same period last year.
