BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 19. Net income from fees and commissions of PASHA Bank Georgia increased by 19.13 times in 2022, Board Member of Azerbaijan's PASHA Bank Murad Suleymanov said at a press conference on the last year's results, Trend reports.
According to Suleymanov, this figure amounted to 604,000 manat or $355,290 (compared to 30,000 manat or $17,650 in 2021).
"Interest income of PASHA Bank Georgia last year increased by 42 percent or 7.5 million manat ($4.4 million) - from 17.9 million manat ($10.5 million) to 25.4 million manat ($14.9 million). Income from the bank's foreign exchange operations in 2022 grew by 3.25 times - from 1.3 million manat ($760,000) up to 5.5 million manat ($3.2 million)," he noted.
The board member stressed that the operating income of PASHA Bank Georgia increased by 91.1 percent or 10.35 million manat ($6.09 million) and amounted to 21.7 million manat ($12.7 million).
Besides, the bank's total operating expenses last year amounted to 20.3 million manat ($11.9 million), which is 33.5 percent or 5.1 million manat ($3 million) more than in 2021 (11.37 million manat or $6.69 million).
"The bank's losses for the 2022 financial year amounted to 1.3 million manat, and the number of employees increased by 13.8 percent - from 311 people to 354," he added.
