BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 12. The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) predicts that Middle Eastern oil production will reach 3.3 mb/d in 2025, Trend reports.
The forecast indicates a growth of 0.11 mb/d in regional output compared to the estimated 3.19 mb/d for 2024.
To be more specific, the region's output is expected to be 3.25 mb/d in the first quarter of 2025, with a slight increase to 3.27 mb/d in the second quarter. It further rises to 3.32 mb/d in the third quarter and reaches 3.36 mb/d in the fourth quarter of 2024.
Qatar, a major producer in the region, is anticipated to maintain steady output levels at 1.91 mb/d throughout 2025, up by 0.05 mb/d from the figures of 2023 (1.86 mb/d).
Meanwhile, Oman, ranking second, is projected to experience a slight year-on-year increase in its liquids output, concluding 2025 at 1.08 mb/d, compared to 1.02 mb/d in 2023.
