BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 23. The volume of receipts to the state budget of Azerbaijan from privatization and lease of state property amounted to 15.3 million manat ($9 million) in January 2024, Trend reports.
According to the State Service for Property Affairs, which is
part of Azerbaijan's Ministry of Economy, the volume of earnings to
the state budget from privatization and leasing climbed 1.3 times
over the same period previous year.
Meanwhile, the state budget received 3 million manat ($1.7 million)
in revenue from the leasing of governmental property.
During the reporting month, four auctions for the privatization of
state property were place, and seven vehicles were privatized.
Furthermore, 201 lease agreements were signed during the reporting
period, including 46 for non-residential structures and 155 for
land plots.
