ASTANA, Kazakhstan, September 23. Kazakhstan Petrochemical Industries Inc. has significantly increased its polypropylene exports, shipping over 150,000 tons from January through August 2024, Trend reports via KazMunayGas JSC.
According to the data, the company’s polypropylene is now reaching markets in Europe, China, Russia, and Türkiye.
The plant manufactures eight varieties of polypropylene, including five new types previously not produced in Kazakhstan.
In total, the plant produced around 165,000 tons of polypropylene in this period, with approximately 13,000 tons allocated to the domestic market.
The company remains committed to supporting local processors, aiming to enhance domestic production and supply.
