ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, November 1. Turkmenistan and Russia have engaged in discussions on key aspects and future prospects for partnership between the two countries, Trend reports.

Rashid Meredov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, and Alexey Overchuk, Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, made this announcement during a meeting of the co-chairs of the intergovernmental Turkmen-Russian Commission on Economic Cooperation.

In a focused dialogue, the parties discussed key areas of mutual interest, leading to an expanded meeting that included leaders and representatives from both nations' ministries and agencies.

Participants highlighted the session's importance for addressing ongoing cooperation issues and exploring new avenues for collaboration. As they reviewed existing projects, they placed particular emphasis on sectors such as transportation and energy.
