ASTANA, Kazakhstan, November 7. Kazakhstan and Russia have woven a tapestry of collaboration, crafting an action plan that will guide their foreign ministries through the years 2025-2026, Trend reports.

This agreement was established upon the arrival of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in Astana for an official visit. Following a meeting with his Kazakh colleague, Murat Nurtleu, and the taking of a joint photograph, the ministers advanced to the negotiation hall.

In his address, Lavrov expressed gratitude to his hosts for the hospitable reception and underscored the critical significance of fostering synergistic bilateral relations between the two nations. The Russian Foreign Minister highlighted that Kazakhstan has been extended an invitation to engage as a partner nation within the BRICS framework.

In the thick of negotiations, Lavrov also mentioned that an interregional cooperation forum between Kazakhstan and Russia would be held in the city of Ufa. Presidents Tokayev and Putin will participate in the forum online. At the end of the talks, the parties took a joint photo with signed documents.

According to Murat Nurtleu, Russian President Vladimir Putin is expected to visit Kazakhstan at the end of this month, specifically on November 27.
