BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 18. The production volume of the High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) plant, which was built within the SOCAR Polymer project, amounted to 337,000 tons until February 1 of this year, Trend reports via the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR).
The plant's export volume was equal to 310,000 tons.
To note, the HDPE plant was commissioned on February 18, 2019.
HDPE makes a valuable contribution to the diversification of the economy in Azerbaijan, the increase of non-oil exports, the reduction of dependence on imports, and the development of small and medium-sized business subjects.
