BAKU, Azerbaijan, Apr. 20

By Matanat Nasibova - Trend:

Azerbaijan's Texno-Atinak LLC construction company engaged in laying water pipes and sewer lines will complete the implementation of a large regional project in one of the Central Asia’s countries in the coming month, a source in the company told Trend.

The project is being implemented in Uzbekistan, the source said.

“It is about an expensive water sewer project in the Syrdarya region of Uzbekistan. The project cost is estimated at $12 million. The current project is planned to be fully completed in late May. As part of this project, 160 kilometers of polyethylene pipes are being laid. Currently, 98 percent of the work has been completed. The project is funded by the World Bank and the government of Uzbekistan, with 70 percent of the funds coming from the international financial institution, while the remaining 30 percent came from the government of Uzbekistan,” said the source.

“The company has experience and cooperation with Uzbek partners. The company is currently negotiating to participate in a new project, which also envisages laying water pipes and sewer lines in one of the country’s regions,” the source added.

Texno-Atinak also leases a variety of equipment and technical equipment including excavators, loaders, mobile and tower cranes, forklifts and compressors for infrastructure projects.

The company was established in 2011 with the goal of implementing major infrastructure projects.
