Production facilities to be improved in Iran's Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province

BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 17

The remaining 32 production and industrial enterprises will be put into operation in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province (southwestern Iran) in the current Iranian year (began from March 20, 2020), said Mohammad Kazem Monzavi, deputy chairman of the province’s Industries, Mine and Trade Organization, Trend reports with reference to IRNA.

According to Monzavi, there is 60 percent progress in the construction of these enterprises.

Monzavi added that 11.1 trillion rials (about $265 million) is needed to complete the construction of 32 enterprises.

The official said that steel industry enterprises, Lordegan petrochemical plant, Asia Metallurgical Plant, textile enterprises, cement plant are among the important enterprises.

"It is planned to provide working capital to 917 industrial enterprises to increase production and jobs in the province this year. Around 6.15 trillion rials (about $ 146 million) is required for this purpose,” he said.

Monzavi said that 630 billion rials (about $15 million) will be allocated for the renovation and rehabilitation of 20 industrial enterprises.

There are 923 industrial and manufacturing enterprises in Iran's Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province with an investment of 34 trillion rials (about $809 million). More than 21,000 people work in these enterprises.
