Georgia Expects Rise in Investments of Jewish Organizations of US and Europe

Georgia, Tbilisi, 14 February / corr. Trend N. Kirtskhalia/ The State Minister of Georgia on Re-integration, Temur Yakobashvili, has attached great importance to the visit of the large delegation of the representatives of the Union of the Presidents of the key Jewish Organizations of US and Eurasian Congress of the Jews.

"The delegation includes members of large corporations and as they are prosperous, the investment possibilities can be discussed with them," the state minister said.

During their visit which will take place on 13 to 17 February, the delegation will hold meetings with Shatae Tsur, the ambassador of Israel to Georgia, Iliya Second, the Catholicos-Patriarch of Georgia, Nino Burjanadzeh, the chairman of the parliament as well Sozar Subari, the People's Defender. The delegation is scheduled to meet with the Georgian president Mikhail Saakashvili on 14 February.

"We want these organizations to have a full view of the situation in Georgia and of our goals," Yakobashvili said. He said that the geopolitical position of Georgia is one of the key interests of the Union of the Presidents of the key Jewish Organizations of US and Eurasian Congress of the Jews.
