Azerbaijan, Baku, 25 February / corr. Trend U. Ismayilova/ Leasing is one of the areas of entrepreneurship and does not require a separate law, Ziyad Samadzadeh, MP and the head of the Parliament Commission on Economic Issues said on 25 February.

"Leasing is like the entrepreneurship regulated by the Customs Code, Tax Code and other relevant entrepreneurship laws," Samadzadeh said.

There is no separate law on leasing in Azerbaijan and it is regulated by the articles of the Penal Code.

According to Samadzadeh, at present some financial structures carry out leasing activities, allocate additional resources to consolidate material and technical basis of agriculture and there is no need for a special law.

"Though this issue is currently of importance, the economic structure in the country, by studying the experience of the other countries, is that it is possible to do without a special law yet," Samadzadeh said.
