Azerbaijan, Baku, 18 March / Trend / Since the beginning of the year, the assets of Azerbaijan's Bank Respublika have increased by 3.2% and totals about 261.3mln by 1 March 2008, the bank reported on 18 March.
Within the two months, the bank's credit portfolio increased by 13.8% to AZN 181.4mln.
Client deposits in that period increased by 2.9% and exceeded AZN 114.7mln. The amount of population's deposits in Bank Respublika grew in Jan-Feb 2008 by 2.3% and comprised AZN 53.6mln by 1 March.
The aggregated capital of Bank Respublika, within the first two months of 2008, rose by 44.5% to AZN 34.16mln. The authorized capital of the bank amounted to AZN 12.58mln by 1 March.
As a result of Bank Respublika's activities in Jan-Feb 2008, its incomes made up AZN 7.7mln and expenditures AZN 6.4mln. The balance profit amounted to AZN 1.3mln in this period.
